Tuesday 11 May 2010: Cute Cooties
Six baby Coots (Cooties) appeared on the pond last Thursday. This has been my first opportunity to capture them. Delighted with the results, and as I couldn't choose between the baby on its own and feeding in progress, I went for a collage.
A new mallard duckling hatched out this morning - so I was informed by one of the dog walkers who takes a regular interest in my photographic visits. It was hiding in the reeds, so I will return in a day or two, in the hope of another newborn shot.
Out for dinner this evening - one of our group received a text "GB gone to Palace". Interesting times.
