Hard to leave

It was very hard to leave the allotment today. The evening sun was shining, the wind was gone, most of the stuff we wanted to get done over the weekend was done.

The Japanese Alpine Cherry in the foreground was planted 11th of May, 2006 to honour Z's dad who had died the day before. He loved cherry flowers, and so do we!

Hope you had a lovely weekend, too!

It seems spring has almost "caught up" now: The Arctic Starflower (Trientalis europaea) started flowering this weekend, just like one year ago.
