Saturday 22 May 2010: A Bees eye view of lunch...
Saturday was so glorious it was almost impossible not to spend some time in the shade of an Oak Tree, just kicking back and listening to all the bees just buzzing about in this meadow.
Wildflower meadows are a rich source of vital nectar for a whole variety bees. The mixture of plants will vary enormously upon soil type, location and of course the care it's given. But the rewards are amply justified on days like this.
