Repairs

We are moored in Schiedam right now. The same minute the first mooring ropes were tight, subcontractors started with their work here. We do have quite some steelwork to be modified, repaired and so on. This ship is not only a beautiful ship; it is also a heavy duty offshore tool. So I am proud of rusted and battered aftdeck and scars after all these years heavy anchor handling and towing, but also of our beautiful painted funnels (at last). Tomorrow I'll sign off and go home for 4 weeks leave. Maybe I'll post a last blip tomorrow.
