Not deep enough to be a moat...

... but if it continued to rain like it did this morning (bearing in mind that its June 1st), the castle might have had a moat and the Nor' Loch might have been overflowing with water (rather than tourists).

I've the rain, a puddle and the blipbank to thank for my shot today as wasn't in the mood for wandering earlier and didn't get the chance later.

After last night's unsettledness, we approached dinner out at friend's with caution and a soup-son of trepidation. But she fed and settled and we both got to eat our dinner (albeit in shifts) and we even managed the crib to car seat to drive home to carry upstairs to crib operation without disturbing her unduly and Mrs42 and baby42 are now sound asleep.

Lets hope it stays that way for at least a couple of hours.
