Tuesday 22 June 2010: Sailing By
What a lovely piece of music Mr Binge did write. I wonder what else he wrote. Actually, it's only any good for nostalgic reasons. I suppose that's not so bad.
So, after a hearty breakfast, I screwed my whatsits and cast off out Kyleakin harbour under motor power. Brought it round into the wind, hoisted the sails and off I set, who knows where up Loch Alsh. After a few miles I decided I better head back as the wind was getting up a bit. Here's the view looking east as the wee boat spanked along back to harbour.
Managed to tie up without making a public spectacle of myself, so rewarded myself with pasta and a wee Bunnahabhain. Grand.
