Silent Protest

This does not happen in Timaru at all, but our community is up in arms about what has transpired here this week.

Allan Hubbard from Timaru, 82 year old, South Islands richest man, founder of SC Finance, a wildly respected, humble & extremely generous, helpful, caring, quiet, unasuming & very sick man has this week been accused of fraud & his companies plus seven charitable trusts, plus his personal assets & bank accounts(not SCFinance) have been placed into statutory management.

His Facebook page has thousands of "fans" as of this morning, & a peaceful protest march was held in chilly Timaru this morning.

I missed the march, but did see this sign close to the office where he works from. (Which, incidently he has been locked out of)
