Wednesday 14 July 2010: Lundy Post
We had a day trip to Lundy Island today from Bideford. Seas were rough on the way over and 3 out of the 4 of us felt sick. Better on the way back.
Lundy will forever be associated in my head with the Shipping Forecast - 'Lundy, Dogger, German Bight' that sort of thing.
Took this picture of the post box then noticed that it was made in Falkirk - a wee piece of Scotland in the middle of the Bristol Channel.
One advantage of the wi-fi network in our holiday cottage being a bit dodgy in the second half of our holiday was that I was able to spend a little time making a photo Album of our trip to Lundy - hope you enjoy some of the photos.
