Peek-a-boo...I see you!

Jack has become quite an expert finding toads out in the yard lately. We've figured out that their must be a family of them under our deck as that's where most of them turn up.

Jack found this little guy today. (Even brought him in the house to show me!)
We played with him for a few minutes, then placed him back on the ground. Jack sat watching him in the grass for quite a while.

All of a sudden, he hopped off, but we didn't see him at first. We looked down and there he was, peeking out from inside of Jacks sandal!

I made this photo black & white with the selective coloring on the toad to make him stand out a little...he was hard to see being so tiny!!
