Upper Landing at Raffles Hotel Singapore

Raffles is of course the quintessential British colonial hotel, renovated perfectly in 1991 to its state in its 1915 heyday.

Here, instead of the glorious entrance hall, is the 3rd floor landing with a very fine example of a Chinese opium bed from the 19th Century in the foreground.
