Late summer siesta

Today I avoided the Glasgow commute, working out of Scottish Water's Livingston office.

Arriving at the office only 10 minutes after leaving the house provided room for a more lengthy lunch break. A quick trip out to M&S at the Centre was in order, to pick up a sarnie- chicken and pesto. Mmmm...

I thought that this was a great place to sit and eat, relaxing for a few minutes in the sun afterwards. I only nearly tripped up a few folk with my outstretched legs. And I didn't care to take notice of the sidelong glances of other passers-by.

This picture doesn't over-do the sunny amazingness of today, 30th August, in West Lothian. Is it too much to hope for an Indian Summer? Please...
