Male Migrant Hawker
It was a beautiful morning so I decided to take a walk by Cardington Brook which was running pretty fast after the recent rain. Found this Green Veined White just by the bridge. I was amazed to see hundreds of male and female Common Darters, I couldn't resist a few more captures but haven't posted any this time.
I was chasing this Speckled Wood butterfly which turned out to have a lot of damage to it's wing. I soon noticed this Male Migrant Hawker sunning itself on an Elder Bush, stong sun made the capture a little diificult but I like the way the sun reflected off the water stains on it's wings. I blipped the female here.
