Phenomenon

We had an impromptu celebration this evening because Tony learned that he had passed his Masters Degree, yahey! We drove out to the Grouse pub on the moor above Oakworth and spotted this curious light refraction in the sky either side of the setting sun. I've e-mailed it to Paul the Weatherman to see if he'll feature it as his weather picture tomorrow evening and give us an explanation, but I'm sure there'll be an expert blipper out there who can get in first!
