A natural conclusion

This was the end of the day and a much needed pint in the Oxford Bar.

The day started in an action packed fashion during the morning run into school. Joe shouted that there was saltire in the sky, which there clearly was - caused by two airplanes passing overhead. So I crash landed the car into a ditch to take some photos. Once we got back on the road I had to swerve to avoid a pheasant and had just got back on the straight and narrow when a deer jumped over the hedge and ran right in front of me. Followed by another one. Meanwhile, whilst all this was happening, Six Music played "There is a light that never goes out" by The Smiths immediately followed by "Virginia Plain" by Roxy Music. It was almost too much to take in.

I then spent seven hours listening to CDs of myself droning on to groups of strangers from around the Uk and trying to make sense of it. Before going out and doing it all again this evening with another group of strangers.

Peering at the world over a pint at the Oxford was the only conclusion to a day like that.
