The Pensioner

A Blast

Well, we got down to the pontoon before half ten and I was relieved to see that the boat was just afloat - the tide was already well out. We quickly got aboard and reversed off and managed to move all of a metre before it hit the mud on the bottom. Bah. As it was, we had a fine time. Sat and chatted in the sun, took in a coffee at Porto & Fi and then got back to the boat and had some sandwiches and crisps. And off we set - both the kids had turns on the helm as we blew along. And they loved it.

Crumbs. This blip is really too much all about me. Mind you, I find that quite appealing. But is it? I shall agonise tomorrow. For the moment - time for an aperitif.
