Knee'd for speed

Poor old Tilly fell over in the playground and grazed her knee. The problems will start when we have to convince her to remove said plaster.
I received my 40D today - W. E. were having supply problems. It feels just like my old 10D except it does everything at a lightning pace. Image quality looks just the same to me though but then again, I thought the 10D was excellent in this respect. Some people are saying that 10mp isn't enough to compete with Nikon's 12mp cameras put they probably spend more time fretting over sharpness and taking pictures of brick walls than actually using a camera to take 'proper' photographs!
6 or 12mp - theres no difference in the real world.
