Northern Exposure

Blustery...

I seem to be having a weather blip week, maybe something to do with the gradual increase in the wind speed. It's pretty dam wild out there.

Just been listening to the severe weather warning for Thursday on the radio. Could be fun, especially as I'm supposed to be going out on Thursday evening... ho, hum.

Around the time I'm due to go out it should be...

...likely to veer NNW or N'ly and increase further to severe gale F9 or storm F10. Damaging gusts of 75-85 mph are possible. Squally showers will quickly turn wintry with hail, sleet and the risk of thunder. During the evening winds should steadily ease to F7 to gale F8..
Sea state - Very rough with a 4 metre W'ly swell.

As for tonight, we're all indoors. Wind buffeting the house, only a Force 7. Fire will be on shortly. Candles on stand by in case the power goes.
