A time for everything

Fallen leaves

Tuesday
Spent most of the day at my friend E's, helping her unpack stuff in their new house. Helping someone move is a useful exercise - it makes you vow never to move again! We have a bigger home and a lot more "clutter" - I hate to think what it would be like to move. This is by far the longest we have lived in a house (14 years) and you do tend to accumulate stuff. At least moving is good from that point of view - it forces you to re-evaluate your belongings and get rid of stuff. Anyway we had a good day together, and got quite a bit accomplished. We took a break at lunchtime and we went to Panera. On my way home in the afternoon, I stopped at Pioneer Park for a quick blip by the stream. In the evening it was hand bell practice at church, followed by working out at the gym, then I came home and did some knitting whilst watching the Italian miners rescue on CNN. It's just so wonderful to be able to watch good, heart-warming news for a change - it was just so moving watching them be re-united with their families.
