Last night we went to the 2nd Annual Pumpkin Harvest party. The gorgeous home was full of costumed kids, food, drinks, conversation and a lot of laughter. What a welcoming feeling to be greeted at the door by the hostess with the biggest hug on the planet. A hug that radiated excitement, appreciation, and friendship. More and more in my life, this continues to be so extremely important to me. Simple small gestures from people can sure make a huge impact on others. Something that I try to keep in mind as I go about my day to day life. In this case, a small simple gesture from a good friend of mine that just made me smile. If we could all take a few minutes each day to show someone how we feel or tell them how much we appreciate them, this world would be a much more loving and caring place. Thank you to the host and hostess for such a fun evening. We will absolutely be returning the favor with a cozy little family dinner here when we are done with our project. The positive energy in your family is infectious!
