Sunshine and showers

..well torrents actually.

Picked up a long lost son today from the airport. He is well and his washing is done.
He seems to have had a fantastic experience being out and about on his own in Germany. Many new friends made, but as you may expect most of them appear to be female.

Made my way to the Medical centre for the ritual 3 yearly humiliation we women endure for the sake of good health. A little price to pay, but would men be so willing to endure such an examination?

In my profession, a daily question always begins with; If men had to do it would they....?

Ah well, at least we keep it all in the air, so to speak.


Have been asked to work two extra shifts this week. Staff shortages are getting to crisis levels and the flu hasn't even started hitting us yet. I think a push for flu vaccinations for all of us, will be happening very soon.

After a visit to the gym and a walk to the surgery, my back is complaining a bit. I wonder what two extra shifts will do. There's only one way to find out.
