Building a dam

Lily has started Beavers now, and last week came home with 'Nibbles' the beaver to look after. So, as had been promised, today we went down to the river so that Nibbles could make a dam.
Lily and Rohan took the route across the field. while Noah and I took the road. In a kind of race (Lily's idea-always competing!). The girls won, and arrived at the river in enough time before me to worry a few passers-by that they had been abandoned by the deep and dangerous water. Of course they had been well warned to go no where near. And they didn't. Good girls.
