Is it a bird...

....err, yes.

Not much time for photography today, what with all the cleaning. It was either this or a picture of some starlings swarming over the house with a buzzard in their midst trying to get a quick meal. But the buzzard was a bit behind the trees when I got the camera out, so it was really just a bunch of black dots above a tree. You had to be there.

So, here's a big bird. Mr B and Conor both thought it was way too big to be a buzzard. So their money was on some kind of eagle. It was pretty darned big - and we're used to seeing lots of buzzards around here so know what size they are. Anyway, the 18-200mm with a bit camera shake due to wobbling on the edge of the terrace for a better view are not going to aid identification.

Viewing tomorrow. More bad news from the Mairie today. I fear we may be lumbered with this house for some time. Lovely place and all that - but it's time to move on.
