Great day today - wandered round the annual Thorndon Fair this morning. Didn't buy anything but they open up the gates of Premier House and have a bouncy castle in the car park. Jo-Ann found a quiet spot to feed Ailsa and we agreed that it wasn't everyday you got your chebs out in the Prime Minister's garden without being arrested.

Then we went to friends' house in Karori for a slap up barby on what turned into a ripper of an afternoon. It felt so much hotter than the mercury said but that's due to the combination of he strength of the sun and the lack of ozone layer. Factor 30 to the fore.....

Still feeling fairly poorly but will probably scrape into work tomorrow - 5 more days at work and then back home to Scotland via Hong Kong for a 4 week trip. Sweet....
