Sunday 21 November 2010: Clematis

Another day of four seasons. Wind, rain, cloud, sun, warm and cold. Not at all enticing to be out and about in....... however........

Paid a visit to the local nursery and bought a tomato plant in a tub suitable for the 'conservatory'. The elder can sit and pluck sweet 100's at her lunch time - when they mature.

Todays blip came from that nursery. So many beautiful specimens to "ooh" and "aah" over and ditto for the choice for blipping, but the above image won the right. Only just though.......there is a pretty good image of a creamy white paeony whose inner petals are stroked by crimson, as though by accident. Gorgeous.....but this clematis has a live-wire feel to it... those full stops at the tips add an electrifying dimension against the subtly, painterly petals......I think. Remind me of sea anenomes too.
