Since 28th July 2010 my journal has been documenting the construction of a wind farm in the Terra Alta region of Catalunya, Spain. We own and live in a Mas (finca) which is on the line of the wind turbines, and will have two of the beasts within 300 metres of our home.

We followed McNally's moving the big crane vehicle round to the wind turbine site which is directly in front of our Mas, and over the course of the afternoon they've brought round and unloaded all sorts of other heavy duty paraphernalia.

Yesterday we had a chat with two of the NcNally's team and it seems that the first wind turbine to be erected will be the one in front of us. Next week they said...
