Sunrise

Okay, so I'm not a morning person, but the cats decided they needed a feeding this morning before my alarm went off and I was already getting up sort of early for me. I was busy getting the cat food and a fork when I happened to look out the kitchen door onto the porch and caught this sunrise. It was so amazingly red, I ran for my camera half asleep. I really could not believe that I was going to go out on the porch in 15F (-9C) temperatures to take a photo *before* I even had my coffee and without a coat. But yes, yes I did. Couldn't miss this display of natural color.

I seem to have warmed up again finally :-)
