Make-Believe Mistletoe

In some homes a real Christmas Tree and real Wreaths and real garland is tradition.
In my house, Plastic!
Partly cost, partly clean-up, but nostly allergies kept me away from real holiday foliage growing up. It has just become tradition that we use the same stuff every year. Someone on the radio this morning said that unpacking the Christmas decorations was like seeing an old friend again. As I unpack all my nativity Scenes I start to thing about last year and the one before that. Each year we get to spend the holidays with these things that make us in the spirit.
The holiday is not about things, but these things certainly can remind us of the feeling of Christmas.
