Christmas Carol

I'm trying to sneak this one in late when no one is looking. Not my best picture! (Even the added snow can't disguise it!)

This was what I was up to for a big part of today - sorting out Christmas decorations. And I must have spent at least 2 hours attempting to untangle fairy lights (no exaggeration).

When it comes to Christmas I am very much in the 'Bah Humbug' brigade for most (but not all) of what goes on. The bits I don't like include the commercialism; the over-eating; the shopping and the rip off prices which magically reduce the day after Christmas; the over- crowded shops; the Christmas related adverts on television; silly Santa hats; office Christmas parties; Christmas Pop songs on the radio - the same ones year after year; Xmas instead of Christmas; Brussels Sprouts. And that's just for starters.

o.k. then I'm actually looking forward to it, but its good to have a rant. (especially after 2 hours untangling!).
