The Park

Not only am I really lucky to do the job I do but I work in wonderful location and able just to nip out at lunch time for 1/2 hour ramble through Cuerden Valley Country Park. it has great mix of paths thru woodland and meadows and the River Lostock runs thru it. There are otters and water vole (I know because I have seen the poo) kingfisher and lots of dragon flies. It's a bit quiet at this time of year but the bare winter trees give it colour.
