Monday 20 December 2010: Fenceposts and telegraph poles

First lot of visitors made it through the snowy winter wonderlands of Caithness and Sutherland. Journey was fine apart from a couple of short sections where the wind was causing drifts across the road. Even the ferry crossing was calm and fine. In fact, they reckoned the worst part of the drive was the last bit of the single track road to our house.

Now we await the arrival of the second lot, this time by plane from Edinburgh on Wednesday... anyone taking bets?
