Time to get cosy...

Plan worked like a dream. Got up town round the market and shops in tip top time and even stopped for a cup of tea and a scone. Sorted.

One sour note. The fun of Chrismas Eve shopping is going. Half the shops are putting up signs for 'The Sales" so they don't really want you in. But just when you're about to turn into Mr Scrooge - you meet a young family who are out having a ball, and the kids are so excited they don't even want to eat so they can get to bed earlier, but it's the Polish people who shame us all.
We met a Polish couple on the bus, with their Christmas Eve tree and their Polish Christmas food. Just like they do it at home . Merry Christmas

...and to bring all together Homer and Marge are doing it all on Christmas Eve too. Turn up those speakers!
