Saturday 23 December 2006: Too much the Magic Bus...
Tonight was the shopping for Christmas run - not the Official Christmas shopping, that comes later. I mean the food 'n stuff. The secret is to go on a Saturday evening - fantastic it's all quiet and civilised - the battle is nearly over, only the walking wounded left in the supermarket aisles.
As for the Christmas Shopping well I've not even started on that. Only Bella's pressie is in the bag
Gifts should only be bought on Christmas Eve. None of this getting it together 3 months ahead - I go for the Special Services approach - a quick run at the target and out again, legs and arms flying all over the place, demanding the gift wrap service be re-opened. 'make way for a man with a live credit card - coming through'
That's the plan anyway.
