Not What I Had in Mind

We went down to Squalicum Harbor today to buy some salmon from the Fishing Vessel Desire. As you've probably guessed, it was meant to be a blip excursion, but when I opened my camera bag there was no camera -- just lenses and a flash.

The consolation blip is a photo of some of the fish, with previous photos of the Desire and skipper Bob Gudmunson.

Bob and his wife, Melinda Sweet, spend each summer with their three children on the Desire, fishing in Alaska. Read more about them here -- it's very interesting.
