A beautiful day today so we took a stroll with my folks, my sister Sarah and her youngest son Euan who is 5 and quite insane. The others were away on a seperate walk. We went to my favourite place in these 'ere parts - Loch an Eilean in the Rothiemurchus Estate.

As you can see it was a still and sunny day but cold. I think -2C was as warm as it got. We walked up one side and then back the same side and I had to give Euan a piggy-back for the last 200 yards which was a bit rough on the old back but these things an uncle just has to do.

Back to Edinburgh tomorrow and then off back to NZ via the searing heat and humidity of Singapore on Tuesday. Then back to work next Tuesday - boo!
