Blipped this on a walk with Jo-Ann and Ailsa to The Boathouse at Loch Insh - the Loch was frozen over so there was a game of curling going on on the ice. I strayed out on to the ice for a wee bit but the creaking sound sent me scurrying back to shore quite quickly.

The weather is due to turn milder tomorrow and probably wetter which will be a shame as I love this cold and clear stuff.

Incidentally, I must have been away from Scotland for longer than I thought as I referred to the 'Lake' rather than the 'Loch' this morning much to my horror! Alex Salmond will be happy to see the back of me when I leave then!
