Indian vibes

An unbelievably atrocious day even by January standards. There is a gale blowing, the rain is lashing and it is almost dark. No chance of an outdoor blip so I have searched for something bright and cheerful to lift the spirits which are sagging - be warned next Monday is officially the most depressing day of the year- something to look forward to :( Anyway, this little piece of cloth is very pretty, Indian, sewn by hand and has crazy colours in abundance. I found it in a strange little shop in Cork. I like unusual embroideries and weavings, and have a few interesting fabrics hanging around here and there, mostly Indian or Greek.

I'm also in the middle of making a ginormous curry, so the Indian fabric is very appropriate. There will be eight of us sharing various curries later tonight. Mine is mainly chickpeas, potatoes and tomatoes. Himself will be making naan shortly. After supper we may get an impromptu session, as two of the guests are fiddle players. That should lift the gloom.

Card stuff progressing well. We now need a name - suggestions please!!
