Miserable on 36th Street

The air turned warmer today but not warm enough to melt much snow. It also rained for a while, and the city was dressed in cold puddles and filthy slush.

I saw no lively scene or interesting scenery out of doors today, perhaps because I returned home to the warm as soon as I could manage. It's good to be back with a warm cat and some hot coffee!
