Too old to die young

Plaza de España

Wonderful day in Seville. Walked miles, weather was glorious and we even took our coats off. We both had sore feet when we got back. Took hundreds of images and I toyed with a portrait of a busker who made us laugh out loud when we saw him playing his guitar and singing while running after horse drawn carriages which were doing romantic rides with tourists. It was such a funny sight. Neither of us was fast enough to photograph this. Although his portrait was ok. I thought this image was graphically stronger. This building is part of the Spanish pavilion built for the Ibero American exhibition in 1929 and quite spectacular with fantastic red brick towers, a canal with boats and brightly coloured ceramic bridges and decorations. We are especially enjoying the fact that we are there just taking care of ourselves and don't have to hold anybody's hand.
