Abu Simbel

It's 4 days past this now but no Internet available in Nubia south of Aswan. This day was fabulous(after we got up for a 4:40 am flight that didn't leave til 8:00 due to fog!! Then a 3 hour bus from Aswan to Abu Simbel- but it energized us to just be there and experience Ramses ll'a temple that was moved, block by block from lake Nasser after The high Dan was built. Can't write too much here with this slow Internet but will try for this one- that's me trying to do a quick sketch of this amazing place - we stayed for the excellent sound and light show, with the full moon. Magical.
