Sunday 23 January 2011: DAY OUT AT THE LIMESTONE
Today Mrs.Poo and I and a couple of friends were treated by a property owner
up in the Waikari Area to a private showing of the Limestone seam running through the top of their farm property - Althought the weather was against us we had a great time and were treated to a " Big Day Out " The rain stayed away during our tour - Mrs Poo and others braving the Back of the " Holden Rodeo "
to about 1500 feet. ( Up hill and down Dale)
Maori rock drawings, Great vista's and great Corn Chowder were the order of the day - so Many thanks to David and Adele for Hosting us and many thanks for Ian and Stephenie for guiding us to the Limestones " Big Day Out "
