Hare's-tail Grass

Common name: Hare's-tail Grass or Bunny Tails Grass
Botanical name: Lagurus ovatus

Light as a feather with a soft furry flowerhead, this grass was my
'creative' blip.

It is native to the shores of the Mediterranean region and an escaped weed in many parts of the world. The oval flower cluster is soft, hairy and long lasting. Grayish green hare's-tail grass, about 30-60cm tall, with narrow, soft, flat leaf blades is grown for use in dried bouquets.

I worked with it in Photoshop Elements, Auto Enhancing adding some Lightness, Polarising it (formed the fountain shape) and used Parallel Directional Lighting (formed the colour).
It depends how much lightness
is added as to how much colour you get in the Parallel Directional Lighting.

An experiment I thoroughly enjoyed and welcomed your thoughts, all full of imagination and fun!! :)
