Wall of time

Yesterday I was sitting in the school library, peacefully, without any disruption around me because the clock was about 3.30 p.m. and the school building was quite empty and silent at that time of the day. My phone rang. I answered the call and was met with something I couldn't have prepared for. It was the person who I wouldn't have ever imagined to be calling to me.

I haven't heard his voice for two years actually and at that moment everything just clicked on its place. The past. The present. The future. The strangest thing was that the past had moved behind the library door, the present stayed in and the future was yet to come. This was it, that moment - the present moment.
