A lovely trip to the airport and back

Well, it's 8.30am and today has been "eventful" in a generally not good way.

Last night we got news that snow was coming to NYC and lo and behold the flight this morning was cancelled because no flight got out of Newark. We had an abortive trip to the airport and back in a taxi. An hour later, and £43 lighter in taxi fares (probably recoverable) we were back in the flat.

Anyway, I took that picture on the Streak on the way back and thought it would be nice to blip via the iPad. I downloaded the Photogene app for the iPad and wanted to use it for editing before uploading. I realised after editing that this is complicated. You cannot upload to Blipfoto via the web interface. It appears to be disabled. Nor is there a dedicated iPad app. However, the iPhone app appears to work perfectly. Well, let's see.

Not sure what the photo will look like. It appears to have resized itself during editing and emailing (it was emailed from the Streak to the iPad) to be very small.

It's quite a weird experience sitting here with the iPad propped up on the keyboard typing away on this little replica of an iPhone which is reproduced in the middle of the screen... Really quite weird. The main thing is, does it work? We're about to find out.
