Auld joke

What happens when the wind stops blowing in Orkney?

Everyone falls over!

Well, we're all standing bloody tall today.

In case anyone's interested in the details - After a drier interlude early afternoon, rain will sweep in from the southwest, as winds back S to SE'ly and increase gale F8 to severe gale F9 and storm F10 over exposed areas. Gusts to 60 or 70 mph are likely, possibly up to 80mph over exposed coasts and hills. Around mid-evening, winds will veer SW'ly and perhaps ease a little, as clearer conditions with showers spread in from the west. These will quickly turn wintry as winds veer W'ly gale F8 to severe gale F9. A mixture of clear spells and frequent blustery wintry showers - possibly with thunder - accompanied by W'ly gales will continue overnight.

Worth noting I took this in the 'drier interlude'.
