Malibu - Day 7

The picture is one of one of our typical breakfasts during the week - coffee, oatmeal, fruit, bread, jam, cheese. Sitting outside the RV in the warm sun and enjoying each other's company and our gorgeous surroundings. Each morning we spotted these pairs of brilliant yellowy green birds in the treetops - and after a little bit of research I believe we were seeing the Nanday Parakeet. We also saw lots of other birds, but these ones really stood out.

Lounged around, C&C went to the beach, Jer and I at the campground, had lunch.

The boys ran yet again more errands, while Carol met us st the campsite and we did a quick trip over to the farm for some goodies for dinner. We had lots of lemonade and vodka and spritzes (but made with Campari, which is a different drink in itself).

Dinner was braised kale, white beans, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, campfire fried egg over quinoa and toasts with marinated zucchini and parm. Yee-um.
