Sunday 13 February 2011: Surprise Visitor
It's been a wild and wet day in South Wales. The garden has been mobbed with birds.
Me and my partner sat in the chill out room, and let the iPod take over. I was indulging in a bit of bird watching, my partner, thumbing through wedding books.
Suddenly I realised in amongst the small flock of Siskins, Bramblings and Chaffinches something new was lurking.
Luckily I always have the camera close at hand. A couple of snaps later, and I got bird number 29 in my Big Garden Twitch Off!
Say hello to my first Reed Bunting I have seen in the garden.
