Sunday 13 February 2011: Sails
Yikes, slept in a bit but managed to do some solid and indeed, quite enjoyable, works down at the boat. But only eight weeks till lift in and half the work I hoped to do hasn't been done. Is spring that far off? There were even dinghies out in the harbour and a jogger on the breakwater.
Still, I got the incongruous outboard plate removed from the transom - I'll get that cleaned up next weekend, and once the boat's new name (along with the club name and home port of course) is mounted thereupon, there will be a small celebration. It may involve a drink, but probably just for me as I don't imagine it will draw the crowds.
