Have been spending the weekend in Dundee. Always have a great time there.

Dundee always gets a bad rep, but it is a fantastic city. It's full of culture, places of interest and the work they have done to regenerate the city centre certainly puts Aberdeen to shame.

Visited RRS Discovery, for the first time since 1988.

It's amazing to think about Captain Scott and his crew living on the boat for the three years. Forty-six men, forty-five sheep, dogs, a cat and thousands of pounds of food were on board at the beginning of their voyage to map the Antarctic. The boat was trapped in the ice for two years.

Reckon their view from the deck would have been quite different to this.
