Monday 14 February 2011: Bath time
It's Valentine's day, and this is not a romantic bath for two, but a desperately sought after bath following two days without hot water (or heating). It doesn't sound like much, and I feel like a very spoilt brat for saying it, but boy, you really miss hot water when you don't have it. Especially if you've spent a couple of nights smeared alternately in Vicks and snot - a sink wash with one kettle of water just doesn't do.
Thank you gas man, even if you were very, very odd.
