Monday 21 February 2011: Drummond Scrolls 2
This is the left half of the Drummond Scrolls, with the Thistle of Scotland in the centre of the scroll compared with the Rose of England in the right half as in blip Drummond Scrolls
Bear in mind that to take the photos I had to hold the camera above the owner's fence (point and shoot) and I hope I did not cause any offence by doing so.
On the other hand, I think that to live in a house of historic importance it is not unreasonable that the public take an interest and it is ungenerous to erect a fence and bushes which shield the points of interest from view. Fortunately I'm quite tall.
